What is your title or role at HBC?
Pastoral Intern/Admin
Give a brief description of what you are responsible for…
I am responsible for taking care of many administrative tasks such as updating the church events page, coordinating events, making slides for announcements and other tasks around the church. I also take part in leading Bible studies, prayer meetings, shadowing Pastor Mike in counselling, meetings, and other pastoral duties.
What do you love most about what you do at HBC?
I love interacting with all the people and sharing the love of Christ through everything I do.
What is your favorite Bible verse, and why?
Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” It brings me so much comfort to know that the work of salvation is the Lord’s doing and it is nothing I have done on my own strength. Therefore, I cannot boast but only be humble because of what Christ has done.

What 3 things do you do for fun outside of HBC?
1) I love spending time with my wife doing life together. 2) I love spending time outside riding dirt bikes, playing sports, and other outdoor activities. 3) Lastly, I love working with my hands, woodworking, and working on cars and small engines.
